SHORTS FEST
Aaron, Maureen, Rachel, Jeff and mentor Tony Mark held a panel
discussion at LA
Shorts fest on September 8, 2005 at the Arclight Cinemas
in Hollywood. The crew spoke about how to become insanely
productive in filmmaking, where to get your short films seen
and the fine art of puppetry. Dina was off launching a New
York chapter of Group101Spots,
so in her absence we revealed all of her personal secrets
to the audience.

A four year Group101 veteran, Tony Mark is now one of our
many invaluable mentors. He's also directed two feature films
and is ramping up on his third - rumor has it it's a vampire

VANCOUVER INTERNATIONAL
DIGITAL FILM FESTIVAL
Vidfest
invited one founding member of Group101Films to their annual
festival in Vancouver in June, and Jeff Consiglio won the
coin toss. Jeff participated in a panel discussion on the
future of digital media, ate lots of oysters and vowed to
relocate to the beautiful Vancouver as soon as he buys a warm
enough coat. Cory Lussier, founder of Group101 Winnipeg, was
on hand as well with plans to start a Vancouver chapter.

Three years ago Courtney was sweating over a short film per
month, then he went on to make his first
feature film with some guys named Ted Danson and Henry
