Group101Films was very proud to present the 2005 OVATION Award
to JOEL ZWICK, director of one of the most successful independent
films of all time, MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING.
Joel inspires us because, in addition to his great success
with GREEK WEDDING, he has enjoyed a long career of directing
some of America's favorite television shows including HAPPY
DAYS, MORK & MINDY, BOSOM BUDDIES (which launched the
career of Tom Hanks), and more.

Mark Romanek,
visionary music video director and writer/director of the feature
film One Hour Photo, received our first Ovation Award in 2003. Mark's
music videos for artists such as Johnny Cash, Rolling Stones, Janet
& Michael Jackson, Beck, Madonna and many more, present some
of the most beautiful and striking visuals ever created.
