Jeff Consiglio is a director and freelance
editor of commercials, film and television title sequences,
documentaries, short films, music videos and too many actor's
reels. Being freelance means Jeff sits on the beach until
someone drags him into the editing room whereupon he immediately
becomes the world's grumpiest man until they let him back
out.
Jeff grew up a long time ago in and around Washington DC and
severely misses the East Coast, but likes the beach here.
This makes Jeff schizophrenic, non-committal and often confused,
and sometimes he wishes he'd never moved here and helped to
start up this ridiculous monthly filmmaking collective, and
other times he lies awake at night in crippling terror of
the life he would lead if he hadn't.
Jeff is thrilled to be making a short film every month for
less than the cost of dinner and a movie, especially since
his last short film before the birth of this group cost as
much as a large car or a small house and has made a lot of
credit card companies very happy. Jeff would hereby like to
invite those companies to share the love and become official
sponsors of Group 101. It's a Karma thing.
Outside of the life of film, Jeff has lots of nosy neighbors
because he often sculpts from live models in his living room
and his blinds don't shut all the way. All of Jeff's sculptures
as well as all of Jeff's films are for sale for the price
of a large car or a small house.
If you would like to work on any of Jeff's future films, show
up with a light on a stand, a boom microphone, or lunch.
